FC to be deployed in Karachi to maintain peace

Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said Frontier Constabulary (FC), personnel would also be deployed in Karachi to maintain law and order situation. Talking to media at Jinnah International Airport, he said those FC personnel, who are available in the city, will be ready and deployed by 10 am on July 8, while 1000 more FC men will also reach Karachi in a day or two. The Federal Interior Minister said he has come to Karachi on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, to look into the situation. He said no operation would be launched in Karachi, only targeted action would be taken against terrorists and miscreants.
