Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan promised to restore peace in Karachi in a month’s time.
Speaking at the Karachi Press Club, Wassan recollected how the city was a centre of peace and harmony in the 1970s. He expressed his concern over the deteriorating situation saying that city residents are often flanked with security guards.
The Sindh Home Minister warned that the dwindling security condition will adversely affect the entire country. He said he has contacted various political parties to ensure a peace process is initiated.
