Talk shows and their result

There are lots of talk shows going on now a days on every channel ..Are these talk shows of any worth to any one?i say they are just a source of business revenue for themselves and the channels.. they don't have anything to do except 3 4 guys gather at one place and start doing argument with each other on political issues etc which at the end result nothing  but waste of time for the viewers and a source of income for the maker of the programmers and advertisers.
